Couldn't recommend more the venue, and I would like to stay there on the next trip. This is surely the best trendy boutique hotel, helpful staff, huge rooms. The setting is AMAZING and great, right by the centre of Deventer, the ferry, and the river. Again, it's just a short stroll away from a Dutch protestant church.

I loved the room with a lovely balcony. Location: the hotel was not far from museums, galleries, shops, and the river and the church and Deventer. I did not want to leave and will come back...

My room at Hotel In Het Huis Van Deventer was named after Davo, the servant of the Holy Lebuinus. It made me feel connected to the history of the place and added a unique touch to my stay. The selected room I stayed in had a cozy balcony, which allowed me to enjoy the fresh air and soak in the beautiful surroundings of Deventer. It was perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring. Sleeping in the largest 2-person bed of the hotel was absolutely delightful. I had the most comfortable and restful sleep, making me feel refreshed and ready for another exciting day. The loft I stayed in was named after an AKZO laboratory, which was an interesting concept. It gave the room a modern and industrial vibe, making me feel like I was in a trendy urban space. The apartment had a well-equipped kitchen, electric kettle, and tea/coffee maker. It made my mornings easier, as I could prepare my own breakfast and enjoy a hot cuppa before starting my day. The private bathroom in my room was a convenient addition. It provided me with the privacy and comfort I needed, and the coffee machine was a nice bonus for my caffeine fix. Free in-room WiFi allowed me to stay connected with my loved ones and share my travel experiences without any hassle. It made my stay at Hotel In Het Huis Van Deventer even more enjoyable. The fact that all the rooms were fitted with bed linen ensured a worry-free stay. I didn't have to bring my own, and it added to the convenience of staying at this budget-friendly hotel. The availability of towels in all the rooms was a thoughtful touch. It saved me from packing my own, and I appreciated the hotel's attention to ensuring a comfortable stay for its guests.
Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the AKZO laboratory theme in the loft. While it may appeal to others, it didn't resonate with my personal taste.

Great location and friendly staff! Rooms were new and nicely decorated. The breakfast was freshly prepared with delicious bread. The storage room for bicycles was also a plus.
The rooms were not soundproof, and the church bell kept ringing all night, making it difficult to sleep. the lack of a door between the bathroom and the room was uncomfortable and limited privacy.

This hotel was a beautiful escape for my partner and me. the rooms were spacious and uniquely designed, each with its own theme. the highlight for us was the comfortable beds, which provided us with a great night's sleep. the breakfast served was of high quality and the fresh fruits offered were delicious. the location of the hotel was perfect for us, as it was close to a ferry service that allowed us to travel to nearby tourist spots easily.
Although overall we had a pleasant stay, there were minor issues that we noticed. We wished there were more mirrors in the rooms, as it was difficult to prepare for the day without one.
